The Bugaboo Donkey 5 has all the features we love from the Donkey 3, but with several updates that make it even better!

Donkey 5 is still just as easy to drive, flexible and a real pack donkey that gives you the opportunity to pack a full 20 kg. The stroller can also be converted into a sibling stroller if you have more children in the future (sibling seat sold separately) .

Donkey 5 Mono is a complete duo stroller that can be used from newborn up to about 4 years (max. 22 kg in the seat).

Although the Donkey 5 is designed to handle a heavy load, it is agile and easy to drive, even with just one hand. The movable front wheels and the short turning radius distinguish the model and make the stroller a perfect city stroller. Thanks to the large wheels, the Donkey 5 gets along just as well off-road as in an urban environment. The Donkey 5 has foam-filled wheels that provide a soft and comfortable ride, and mean you never have to worry about a puncture when you and your child are out and about. The front wheels can be locked if you are driving in snow or sand, and you can also switch the stroller to two-wheel mode ("Beach mode") to make it easier to pull it on rough terrain.


STYLISH AND PRACTICAL DESIGN

The handles and handlebar are covered in faux leather, which gives the stroller a stylish and modern look. The fabrics on the Donkey 5 have been updated in both color and quality. A softer, matte finish on the fabrics gives the stroller an elegant look and is gentle on your child's skin. They are still surface-treated so they are resistant to light moisture, but have also been updated in color fastness so they will resist sun fading better.

All function buttons on the chassis are clearly marked in white, so you don't have to look for them. Smart memory buttons allow you to click out of the reclining or sitting part with one hand. The seat part can also be adjusted in inclination with a one-hand grip on the back of the seat part, so you always have one hand free for your child.

The Donkey 5 has an updated and more ergonomic design on the folding buttons, making it easier to fold.

As a stroller for one child, the Donkey 5 is both robust and easy to drive. The Donkey 5 has large, puncture-proof wheels with suspension that give you and your child a comfortable ride regardless of the terrain. The smooth foot brake is easy to operate.

Another new feature on the Donkey 5 is the integrated attachment points on the chassis. On the handle you will find a knob to attach a cup holder/parasol, and on the lower/rear chassis bar there are attachment points for Bugaboo's smart stand board, so you don't have to have the adapter that was previously needed for previous Donkey models.

As the name suggests (think "packing donkeys"), this is a stroller that can handle a lot of packing. The accompanying side basket can handle up to 10 kg of packing and the spacious shopping basket under the stroller can hold another 10 kg. That's a lot of packing, that! The side basket has internal compartments for small storage and an integrated lid with zipper that both gives you increased storage options and keeps your things in place.

COMFORTABLE FOR THE CHILD

The carrycot includes a comfortable mattress with a breathable aerosleep insert and a soft cover. The carrycot cover and the generous canopy protect your little one from sun and wind. On the outside of the carrycot you will find a smart storage pocket for keys and other small items that you need to take with you on your walks. The updated carrycot on the Donkey 5 also has a mesh hatch that gives your baby extra ventilation on warm days and the opportunity to see the outside world. You can use the carrycot from newborn to about 6 months (max. 9 kg).

When it's time to switch to a seat unit, you have a flexible stroller that will last a long time. The seat unit's weight capacity is a whopping 22 kg, which means you can use it up to about 4 years of age. The seat unit's flexible five-point harness ensures that your child is always seated securely, and with the new update, the harness is even softer with extra padding. The new, slightly duller fabric in the seat unit is smooth against your child's skin. The swivel bar provides extra security and something for your child to hold on to when you're out for a walk. The stroller's seat unit is reversible and has three different recline positions, so your child can discover the world at their own pace. A smooth one-handed grip on the back of the seat unit makes it easy to adjust the recline.

The canopy is extendable and has a ventilating viewing window. The canopy gives your child good protection from the elements when needed and protects against the sun with UPF 50+.

TRAVEL SYSTEM COMPATIBLE

Of course, you can attach a baby seat directly to the chassis so you don't have to wake your baby when you move from car to stroller (adapter and baby seat sold separately). Convenient and practical!
